Government Spending
The role of government should based upon the principle of Limited Government as laid out by our founders in the Constitution. Our system relies on the free market to fix the economy. Over the years, the federal governments has increased it’s power causing people to question its growth.
The recent bailouts, budgets, stimulus packages, and general polices brought about by the Bush Administration and now escalated by Obama is sending this country in a dangerous direction. The federal government is moving from capitalism to a socialism.
We have seen massive increases in our spending and consumption by the federal government. The politicians in Washington believe they can fix the economy be meddling and spending our money on their projects. It was there activity that caused this collapse. We cannot continue down this road. This bill is going to become due at some point and it will be put on the backs of our children and grandchildren; we must stop this!
Health Care Reform
The federal government is now trying to take over our health care system. They will take consumers away from the free market use of private insurance, and put them on government run health care. This will take people’s freedoms away to choose their own health care policy and their own doctors.
We must make our voices heard and tell the politicians to stay away from our health care system.
State Sovereignty
The Tenth Amendment grants powers not delegated to the federal government by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. This was meant to ensure the federal government is held accountable to the states.
The founding fathers believed in a balance between state and federal power. The power shift has gone too far and for too long in the direction of the federal government. We must restore state’s rights and assert our power to tell the Washington politicians enough is enough!
Cap and Trade
If the federal government decides to limit, or cap, carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels it could cripple our economy. The effect of such a cap imposes rationing of coal, oil, and natural gas. Our economy is already struggling because of government meddling, the cap and trade would impose millions of dollars of taxes on business. We must not allow this to happen, our economy cannot take anymore pressure.

How can you leave the most important issue out of the issues page by not mentioning the root of the problem which is the private banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve System?
We need to get people involved with contacting their Congressman in support of passing bills HR-1207 and HR-833. Please put the focus on the main issue where it belongs.
Great comment, Robert. This will be fixed asap.
