As you know the Tea Party movement is under vicious attack. Whether it’s from the White House, the Secretary of Treasury, House Minority Leader, the Black Congressional Congress, MoveOn.org or the once esteemed New York Times-we, the Tea Party have been subjected to some of the most vicious verbal assaults witnessed in modern day politics. And these are not comments from the fringe-they come from the top leadership of the Democrats and the media and is supported by Soros-backed alternative media.

If you’re tired of the attacks or even angered, then you have a few choices. We would recommend you join us in speaking up for the Tea Party, attend our local events and support us.

The national Tea Party Patriots have launched a “Speak The Truth Campaign” and we here in Bozeman urge you to support this campaign. In addition, make sure you attend our Constitution Day reading.   As the Tea Party Patriots recently wrote, here’s how you can participate:

Record a short (no more than 30 seconds) video with the following information:

• Your first name
• Your occupation
• A fact about you that others can identify with (i.e. you are a grandparent, you play guitar, etc.) OR a very short statement about what you are fighting for as a tea partier
• If you are a veteran or active military, and would like to, mention your service to this country
• End the video by saying, “… and I am a Tea Party Patriot” or something similar

• Upload your video to YouTube and/or Facebook
• (If you need help uploading a video on YouTube, simply type in “how to upload a video to youtube” in the search bar for a “how to” video.)
• Fill out this Google form to submit your video to Tea Party Patriots and we will compile them on our Speak the Truth Campaign page (This page is currently being built and we need your videos to make it happen)

Why we need your help

With the help of the mainstream media, liberals have stepped up their verbal attacks on the Tea Party movement in the most offensive and vile manner. Just weeks before our nation mourns the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Vice President Joe Biden called Tea Party Patriots – American citizens – “terrorists” and “hostage takers.” Congresswoman Maxine Waters, (D-CA) told an audience the Tea Party could “go to Hell!” At a town hall meeting held by the Congressional Black Caucus, Democrat Andre Carson (D-IN), in the most shocking, violent, and horrific statement uttered to date, claimed that the people of the Tea Party movement want to see black people “hanging in a tree!” The attacks are wrong and simply UNTRUE!

Big-spending politicians have tried every strategy to destroy the Tea Party and have failed. Why use such deceitful vitriol against everyday Americans in the Tea Party movement? After all, we are simply citizens exercising our Constitutional rights to peacefully assemble, and elect leaders that represent our desires for fiscal and personal responsibility, free markets and Constitutionally limited government. The answer is, liberals know the Tea Party is changing the game in Washington by putting an end to the gravy train, and they are terrified of losing their power and perks.

Untruths have a way of taking hold if good and honest people do not stand up against them. The Tea Party movement is nothing more than Americans who are terrified about our country’s $14 trillion debt and over $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities. We know that trillion dollar (plus) annual deficits are unsustainable. We know that millions of our fellow Americans are out of work because the policies coming out of Washington D.C. have hindered economic growth. And we know that little by little, all Americans are losing the freedom to make decisions about their own lives because politicians and bureaucrats in D.C. continue to grab more and more power. These concerns were central in the founding of the Tea Party movement and they sustain our efforts today. The politicians are the ones we elect to make decisions and to govern responsibly, and yet they choose to attack the American people and blame us for their mistakes and corruption.

The Tea Party movement welcomes ALL common sense citizens who share the same concerns for our country, no matter whom they are or where they are from. We’ve heard the lies from the left. It’s time Americans now hear the voices of the every day, concerned citizens in the Tea Party movement. Please help us Speak The Truth!
