The Beginning:
On April 15, 2009, hundreds of thousands of citizen’s across the U.S. voiced their opposition to out of control spending at all levels of the government. We drew the attention of the politicians and made our message clear, we’ve had enough!! We were not going to stand for any more of their deceptions. In Bozeman we had an estimated 750 people in the snow making their voices heard.
On July 4 that same year, despite opposition from the city bureaucracy, the media and the leftist environmentalists, more than 2,000 people marched on Main Street to the County Court House in a stirring display of patriotism.
During President Obama’s Town Hall Meeting in Belgrade, Montana, Tea Partiers dueled with SEIU members and eventually trounced them, drowning them into silence. The Bozeman Tea Party story starts here.
